Welcome to the

The Illinois Rock & Roll Museum on Route 66 is not related to any other museums or "hall of fames"of any type music anywhere.
Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
With respect to the increasing concerns about the Coronavirus, and in full consideration of recommendations from the State of Illinois, we made the difficult decision to postpone the Illinois Rock & Roll Museum on Route 66 Inaugural Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony planned for Sunday March 29th at the Renaissance Ballroom in Joliet.
This is not a cancellation it is merely a notice that the event will be rescheduled when there is less risk for those in attendance. The State of Illinois is recommending a 30 day period to reschedule. With that said, we are working diligently on a reschedule date for the event and will provide a new date for the event ASAP.
While we did not arrive at this decision easily, the health, comfort, and safety of everyone attending is of utmost importance. We have been monitoring updates from the World Health Organization, the Center for Disease Control and information provided by the State of Illinois and feel that it is more important not to risk the safety and health of our attendees than to hold our the Ceremony on March 29th.
Tickets that have been sold will of course be honored on the rescheduled date and will not have to be updated or exchanged.

The Illinois Rock & Roll Museum on Route 66 has purchased a three story building in downtown Joliet, IL that is undergoing renovation. The building will include exhibit space, a performance music hall and the Illinois Rock & Roll Museum on Route 66 Music Hall of Fame, gift shop, and it is the home of our Road To Rock Radio online streaming radio station. All of this is made possible through museum memberships, private and corporate sponsors and donors and grants. We are thankful for everyone's support in this historic mission to create a home for Illinois Music. The building will be a place to house historic artifacts, honor musicians and bands with Illinois ties and educate visitors of our rich music history right here in Illinois. The museum is not affiliated with any other museums, music related or not, but is a non profit organization in its own. We hope you will explore this website to learn more about our mission.
