Writer of Hallmark greeting cards by day, folksinger by night, the inimitable Harry Waller was a favorite on the Lincoln Avenue folk circuit through the 1970s. His song “Cockroaches on Parade” became a staple of the folk scene and local band The Casualaires did a rip roaring version of his “Mother Goose’s on 42nd Street”.
